As another survivor of the Sat YTB Night Owl sing - though I do admit to nice nap in corner earlier - we had started to think no one would show up & then 2 AM came bring with it quite a nice crowd.

Loved it when the hurdy gurdy came out and he played a few nice dance tunes - French or Breton, I'm not sure.

One nice thing about the YTB is that it not just shanties that are sung... I can remember one year when Jeff Warner declared the YTB to be off limits to shanties... LOL...

Driving home Monday, I did find myself singing new verses to one song done that night...

I like to sing 'til the sun she rises
Early in the morning
I like to belt a shanty chorus
Raising the roof with merry song
And hurrah for the life of a shanty singer
As we stumble through the morning dew
