It's next to impossible to get stuff done as Jeremiah wants to be with mommy almost all the time. I know that's not healthy to do but for now, while he adjusts to being in our home, I don't mind.

I have to join the chorus on this one, LF.

The BEST mom I have ever known had two cute daughters. Both of them, in their turn, came to work with mommy nearly every day. (I was lucky enough to be an employer who could allow this, having had that privilege myself earlier, as a young mom. Anyway, even the auditor from, National that was invited in to see "how we did bidness" loved the kids being there-- big relief!)

The older girl was Miss Independent, always had been, and grew up great.

The younger girl HAD to be WITH MOMMY from the moment she was born. She could be fast asleep, and sense mommy moving out of her own office next door into mine-- 3 whole steps!-- and she would howl in her sleep: "Noooooo" You forgot me!" (in babytalk).

This need to cling was ALWAYS met (thank God, said our ears), and she grew up just as great as Miss Independent. When she was ready to be without mommy, she let her know. (I think that was when she was about 7.)

They just have different needs. We try our best to meet them all, and not mess 'em up TOO much. But what we mess up, they iron out in their teen years. You just love 'em and do what you can, and it all works out.
