Somewhere in between 2004, when this thread started, and 2010 when it was resumed, Cockersdale did a whole week of workshops at Sidmouth Festival (? about 2006 or 2007), when we learned a pile of Keith's songs, and sang them with Val, Graham and John: they did the main parts and we, the "choir" provided the choruses mainly, tho' there were some songs we sang the whole of: this was the "Picking Sooty Blackberries" project. We finished the week with a live performance, which, as described above, included film footage and commentary, and some recordings of Keith himself. It was quite an emotional and uplifting experience for all concerned.
Also I now that Cockersdale have appeared at least a couple of times in Edinburgh, so they are known to some up here too.
