One of the lines I had problem with was "And pack our homes into our little carts"
"Our food was frying panned" also confused me a little, but now it makes sense.
I also thought "pall" was "fall"
I don't like altering things, but, I might change the line "With the sergeant in the middle for the guy" to something like" with the sergeants clothes used for the guy" a little less confrontational before I attempt to sing it.
I have quite a lot of respect for the police.

I have lived all my life in West Yorkshire and find the songs of Keith Marsden exciting.
