I have had two incarnations here at Mudcat, first as Susan of California and then after I couldn't figure out how to reset my cookie, I became Susan from California. The first time I posted was before I registered, I requested lyrics to the song "California Dreaming" and waded into a "what is or isn't folk" discussion. That was in the spring of 1997. I take time away sometimes, but the community here always draws me back. One of these days I'm going to learn how to do a blue clicky, and how to italicize, etc. Now that school is back in session, that will probably have to wait until next (a word I would like to have put in italics) summer!
