It is unfortunate that Hull Sea Fever clashes with so much but hopefully the other events will add to the weekend rather than detract from it. As in the past with people giving their support we will make it a good'un .

In fairness to Pete I know he has tried his damndest to get the Council to revert back to September dates.

Linda's summary of the problems facing the Hull City Council is fair and correct.What with funding problems and all at least we are carrying on a great tradition of a live music Maritime festival in Hull.
