The island of Vectis
   Is far,far away ;
Just like Atlantis ,
(or so I've heard say).

   The natives are odd,
         A bit strange in the head;
The men marry their sisters
    (Or so it is said).

Outsiders don't go there,
Which is just as well,
For they'd end up being eaten ;
(Or so I've heard tell).

   But if you MUST go there,
      Well, don't hold your breff--
    All that incest and suchlike,
       Has made 'em tone deaf !
