But the NAACP spent hours apologizing yeaterday...both the the woman and to the public in general... for not checking out the story first. NAACP president Benjanin Jealous was on TV, on several programs, telling the world that this should be an object lesson about how to respond to such stories.

Everyone was so anxious to be politically correct about racism, that they acted before thinking.
