ahh.. family holidays in a caravan park at Rockley Sands, Poole - Dorset..

Year in year out, we always had the same caravan just under the railway embankment
right by the big pond with a sewer outlet running into it.

First thing in the morning, rain or drizzle,
jumping out of the caravan door straight into the cold murky water,
me and my little sister up to our necks in seaweed and fresh turds...

That summer when I was about 10 or 11,
evenings in the holiday camp boozer
singing and dancind in wild abandon with our old nan
to such a notorious and depraved banned pop song.....
