The kind of political correctness that makes you review and censor everything you want to say, not just to avoid saying anything racist or sexist or homophobic, but to avoid saying anything that the most absurdly oversensitive person might interpret as racist or sexist or homophobic; and that makes you keep saying "he or she" or similiar phrases ad nauseum because the goddam language doesn't have generic third person singular pronouns.

People who're afraid to have fun because God might not approve.

People who're afraid to have fun because other people might think they're not being serious enough about life when there's so much suffering in the world.

People who have a couple of sports cars, SUVs, or sporty trucks that they never carry anything in the bed of; and/or several tens of thousands of bucks worth of golf equipment or fly fishing equipment or guns or all of the above; but who think anyone who has 5 or 6 acoustic guitars is foolish and extravagant.

Family gatherings where the men all watch football and the women all talk about who said what nasty thing to whom and how they all felt about it, and I go to sleep in a corner and get labeled antisocial.
