Thread Name: Lyr/Chords: Wonderful World of Sex (Michael Smith)
Subject: RE: lyr/Chords: Wonderful World of Sex (Michael Smith)
Chicago's Michael Smith is indeed a brilliant songwriter, but if you ask Mark Graham, he might pick Tim Wallace as his (and especially Les Barker's) counterpart on this side of Lake Erie, after doing a warped songs kind of workshop at the Kent State Folk Fest a few years back.

For those looking for words/chords/music for Michael's songs, I remember him having produced a songbook of his work, and I suspect that Joann Murdock could let you know if it's still available. I don't think it had EVERYTHING he's written & performed in it, as I'd was looking for his reworking of the House Carpenter ballad I heard Anne Hills sing once live on the radio & hadn't been able to locate since. Don't think that was in it, or I'd have bought the book.

Happy wonderful word singing,
Joanne In Cleveland who IS in favor of sex.
