Although I admired his acting, I felt he (and William Conrad who also played the role) were both too small for the Nero Wolfe part. My fantasy tv Nero Wolfe would have been Raymond Burr with the young Robert Redford as Archie Goodwin. On film, of course, Orson Welles would have been just right!)
