But what happens if the garage is locked, too, gnu?:-)

I remember following my daughter out to my car in the garage on a very cold, very snowy and windy day in Wyoming...think blowing and drifting snow, about 15-20 degrees Farenheit with a windchill of who knows how much below zero. I was in my pjs with a robe on and my Birkenstock sandals, no socks. I'd pulled the door into the house behind me so the cats wouldn't get out and to keep the cold from getting in. She drove off, waving goodbye. My Rog was already at work. I went to go inside, but when I tried to turn the knob it was locked! So was the front door. All I could do was stand there in the front of the garage and holler for help. I had no hidden keys and no other vehicle.

After about ten cold minutes, a neighbour going to work heard me, came over and brought me his BIG slippers and a blanket, then went off to call my Rog to come let me in. It was cold and scary, plus I was on oxygen, so rather tethered to the spot! Anyway, it turned out okay as they reached Rog (a small miracle in itself because he was so often out and about out of cellphone range at transmitters and such) and he came to my rescue. I did have a key in the garage after that and the garage did not have a lock, so it never happened again. Well, except for the time I had to crawl through my daughter's bedroom's basement window and drop down about four feet to her bed, but that was before the snowy day mishap.:-)

Hope your day improves, darlin'!
