You don't have to post as a GUEST just because you are away from your normal PC - just click on "membership" up the top and sign in.

I've done that on friend's computers, in libraries, and on a weird internet connection they had in a hospital ward attached to the bedsie TV. I think there are some office systems which won't allow that, but apart from that, you never need to be a GUEST.
