One of the highlights is Sailor Ron Baxter's Heritage Walk, kicking of on the Friday at 3pm from The Mount. Whilst the details of each year's walk are a closely guarded secret, one hopes it will include opportunity for a performance of Lost by the memorial on the prom to all the Fleetwood trawlers lost with loss of life. Ron's masterful lyric manages to mention them all, and Ross's setting makes it a moving tribute that has gone out around the world - most notably perhaps in a stunning version by Fylde favourites Pint and Dale.
