Subject: RE: BS: Middle age crisis cars
One of the first cars I really grew to appreciate was the SAAB Monte Carlo [1965] I bought and modified to a competitive rallye car [dyno'ed at 150 hp]. Used to blow 'vettes and 911's away--much to their surprise. I did that while working at a SAAB/Citroen dealership in NJ.

During that time, I began to appreciate the Citroen D types [DS--Greek for goddess, ID--French for idea]. I would love to own one again but would happily settle for a new Cit, even with the changes required for Federalization. The D's were true Grand Touring cars and worthy to stack up against any Mercedes of the era.

Lady Hillary owns a 91 Toyota MR2 which is a real head turner and also an 81 Celica GT which we have recently put classic plates on and intend to rent to the movies. Anyone out there know where we can get a sunroof seal for the Celica?
