Maryanne, I actually did the wiring, including the rheostats, on my new lights in the kitchen and dining area. If you're careful (turn off the power!) and follow the instructions, it isn't difficult, and electricians can be expensive. I have more difficult jobs for the electricians to come do. :)

Alice, a new follower on my Twitter account is this one: http://twitter.com/skeldesign. You'll see if you look on her info on the top righthand side that her web site is her weblog, just like you have. Have you set up a twitter account? It's not difficult to learn to find a few places to follow, and to attract followers interested in design or art topics. I think it would be the perfect place to post a link to your daily painting (like you do on facebook, but it can go a lot farther a lot faster on twitter). I'm not sure how this person found me, probably searching on a term that I used today. I don't always follow back, and they usually drop off after a while. But if it looks like someone who shares similar interests or has something new to offer, I do follow. Food for thought, anyway.
