Yes Rap. In spots in the Fundy "flats", 13 feet in a tide change. Problem is, it comes in fast and if you are away from shore between the islands or along the cliffs, when it gets above two feet the current might sweep you off your feet. Been a number of peeps drowned.

When they say highest tides in the world it makes for good pics... and danger for those that don't understand.

BTW... a tide in Alma, NB is twice that but you can swim ashore.
