I found the next item that will go in eBay. It's a 1928 hearing aid, the box, the advertising circulars, the instructions, the original batteries, everything is there. And antique and vintage medical devices seem to sell consistently on eBay. When they have all of the stuff, they go for higher prices.

I found an interesting little box of porcelain dolls with limbs held to the body by string. It's marked "made in Japan" so one presumes it comes after WWII. I have a friend who knows a lot about dolls and toys, so I'll ask him what he thinks. This is just cute enough I might keep it myself.

That trunk has a lot of antique bedroom stuff, mirror, linens, etc. I can save them in another trunk, no problem. The drawer that sits inside is in very good shape, it makes the trunk seem older than I though. I'll take a look later to see if there are any labels.

There was also a newspaper from the day that has a headline that says "Edward Silent: Mrs. Simpson in France." I know how that story ended. . . :)
