I haven't quite got the hang of this yet - just posted a reply that seems to have been eaten. Mick was at Salford Tech' in 1967/68, and was in a group called "The Moonshiners" who appeared on Granada TV's "First Timers" singing "McAlpine's Fusiliers" - could be the same Salford Irishman!
