This little nook is beautiful. I lie on my back on the thick, lush carpet of grass. The grass feels cool and soothing, and it tickles my neck and arms. I like the way the branches of the antique rose bushes join together to form an arch over my head. I can see the deep blue of the sky through the latticework of the leaves and branches. The scent of roses wafts gently around me, bathing me in the fragrance of a bygone time. There is no time here. Only beauty.
I can hear the sound of water, jumping and falling playfully, in a little fountain that I can see just beyond the entrance to my little nook.
My consciousness floats carelessly away on the trail of rose-scent, as I descend, gently, into a deep slumber.....
