Andrea, it will be interesting watching from afar the process as you complete the sale, the purchase, the move, and then the settling in. Good drama for the coming months! You know how years ago people realized that little kids like watching things like bulldozers and trains and tractors work so they made long kind of otherwise-boring films of tractors at work and such and kids loved them? I think you could do a film about the process you're talking about and keep me happy. :)

It's autumn now. Though it's overcast outside, it's about 80% humidity after last night's rain and it is forecast to reach 90 today. There is so much work to do in the yard, weeding and putting in autumn plantings. It's difficult to get much of that done when it's hot (especially when it hasn't rained and the dirt is like concrete) but pretty soon it will be good working conditions again.

Yesterday I handed the recycled items over to the friend who can use them. His porch has a low hedge around it so I concealed them out of sight of the street. I can visualize the next fancy meal he prepares will have these warming pans set up on one of the counters or in the middle of the dining table.
