the PM's on Etsy are called "convos", short for conversations.

When you sign up as a user/buyer at etsy, it is the same username that your shop will be called if you become a seller, so they advise that you be careful to pick a username that would be a good shop name if you decide to sell, and to use upper and lowercase, like I did with AliceFlynn.

Anyhoo, I'm finding it is a very creative a supportive group of folks there.
