I'm even going to surprise my musical partner Anne Price and do a Woody Guthrie song that I learned many years ago from the late Sis Cunningham. It's called Business Ain't Dead, and to the best of my memory it goes something like this:

Business ain't dead,
It's only a-sleepin',
Sleepin' and dreamin'
That a customer will come.

That customer ain't dead,
He's only a-sleepin',
Sleepin' and dreamin'
That a paycheck will come.

The paycheck is dreaming about a good job, the good job is dreaming about good times, the good times are dreaming about the President, the President is dreaming about Congress, Congress is dreaming about business. Well you get the idea! But then Woody breaks out of the cycle:

You and me ain't dead,
We're only a-sleepin'
Sleepin' and dreamin'
That a new world will come.

Well that new world ain't dead,
It's not even sleepin',
It's a-wigglin' and gigglin',
For you and me to win.

Pure Woody!
