Rose and Colin's singing Sunday evening was another highlight for me. They're part of the Gloucester/Press Room gang and they are always good to listen to but they were superb at the closing concert.

I never did find Rapaire. Was he really there or is he a figment of our collective imagination?

Jerry Rasmussen is as nice in person as he is on Mudcat!

I was very sad that Mark Ryer came down with some kind of stomach ailment after the first day. He's one of my favorite singers from the Press Room crowd and I was looking forward to singing with him some more.

David Diamond was in great form all weekend; I do have more of an affinity for the nautical singers, as might be expected. But I also love the Appalachian music and there was plenty of that to be enjoyed. I especially like what Bob Clayton et al do, and of course what the LaPrelles sing.

This time I didn't bring the camera. So I have no photos to edit or post. I note that Vince Wilding has already posted a few images on his Facebook page.

Cheerily,
