Tawmmie and I had a blast. So many good friends both new and old to laugh with, sing with, lie to, listen to, eat with, pick for song ideas, share stories, and hug when the time came to leave. We love living in the lower 48 now that we're retired, and one of the perks is being close enough to spend time with our friends at the Getaway.

We are currently sharing a meal with our daughter's family in Michigan. 4 or 5 days in Michigan visiting with kids and grandkids, then down to another offspring and her family in Indiana before heading for our new home in southwest Florida. Hopefully, before the hot, Florida sun dries out all our new landscape plantings.
