And re accents, my Mom is a native Californian and her people were from Arkansas and my Dad and his folks were from Oklahoma. I grew up in the central San Juaquin Valley. Accent? I didn't have an accent, did I? I lived with my Aunt for my sophomore year in high school near San Fransisco. The kids kept asking me what part of the South I was from. Chee!   guess it's what you'd call a Cali-Okie accent. Such things only become apparent when you change locations.
