I would love to be able to reply to queries about a garden ornament with, "It's a codpiece!" Mind you, knowing me, it wouldn't surprise anybody!

I'm just taking a break from another major tidy up - my buyers are coming this afternoon, and bringing parents with them. I find this a bit more daunting, because being of the same generation, I know what they will be looking at...and it won't be the pretty log fire!

Tomorrow I start in earnest by sorting out what clothes I will live in for the next few weeks, and bagging them up. Once the spare bed has gone dumpwards mid week, I will form a "removers - please do not crate up" pile in that room. I then have to clean off all my garden tools and sort the shed (again). From what I can gather, the new people have ideas of making it into a gym....good luck, I say! I have a sneaky feeling that this house was well within their budget (2 incomes, no kids) and that they have cash to do stuff with it.
