Just taken quick peek. From the chord sequence, I'd say it's actually D7sus4, which is root D7 played with little finger fretting the G note on the top string 3rd fret. This is an unresolved sort of chord which then resolves on the following G chord. Haven't tried it, but have a go and see what you think.
