Ah, don't blame Rooney - he can get that kind of money, so he does. Blame those who pay him the money (management) and those who pay them in turn. Oh, I forgot, it's the fans' tickets that pay for it.

Well, stop moaning and stay at home. Don't go to watch a match involving players who earn undeserved salaries. Don't watch in on the telly either. Walk the talk. It's the only way you have to influence the situation.

Learn a new song instead. Or go to a folk club (which will cost you 1/10th the price of the football match ticket). Or save up and buy an instrument.
