Amazing! After a few months I forgot that Reg, Reg, and Reg were MY brothers. My goodness there was an innocence on the Cat in those days. Not to spoil a well used joke, but the "boys" came from a combination of meeting the two actors who played "Daryl and Daryl" on the Newhart show. I was playing at a County Fair in Montpelier Vermont, and to my surprise saw that these two actors (who never spoke one word on the show) were there to engage in a "Lard throwing contest"!!! (I'm not kidding) I thought "what a weird kind of celebrity".

Reg. seems to be a verrry common Canadian name in Northern Ontario. Every small town seems to have a "Reg's Service Station" or a Reg's Bait and Tackle Shop". Well, that's how they came to exist. Paw's given them a life of their own that I couldn't imagine!
