This afternoon I decided I was going to move some of these antique trunks out of the way in rooms where I want more space. And it dawned on me that since I only use my office for the computer and writing, I could line old trunks along the wall under a set of shelves 4 feet off the floor, held up by metal brackets). So I moved five trunks in here, four of them are out of sight in a little alcove, and then moved one large one into my room to take the place of three that had come from there. The largest one had been in my front room. So this means that the front room now has only one trunk, a decorative dome-top that I want on display. My computer is more towards the middle of the office now, and I can still reach shelves by walking around it, and I can reach the window in the alcove.

There are a few things that had to be moved to shove the trunks past (not difficult - a few trunks on dollies a made several years ago). I'll decide what goes back, or somewhere else, as I take a look at things where they are now.

Good exercise, moving trunks, but not of long duration. I'll plan a walk with the dogs this evening.
