Mrs. Palin is not well educated, or well informed. She seems to think this makes her a good person.

I was raised to believe that ignorance was not bliss, and it was certainly not a virtue. That learning was something you did all your life.

I know learning is not the same as wisdom. I know wisdom is better. I know wisdom can come with learning. I also know that Sarah Palin is neither learned nor wise. But she is proud of her lack of learning. That bothers me a great deal.
