I realize many of you will be tempted to take the piss here, but...

It occurred to me to wonder. We love pork, it's delicious and we eat lots of it. The same is true for beef and lamb (and goats to a lesser degree). We make cheese from the milk of these animals, so why not from the pigs'?

I'd welcome your guesses, and actual information as well.
