LIke Jack the Sailor, I take Lovostatin, Mevacor, and have done for 15 years or more. No side effects. With fairly regular exercise and a fish and olive oil base diet and fish oil supplements. My total cholesterol is around 135. Down from 175 to 200 years ago.
