Yeah......in Baseball, the pinch hitter/substitute batter simply gets off the bench and goes to bat. In Cricket, if they were to use a substitute, the sub-guy probably has yet to be born but still has the time to grow up and be near middle age before he comes in the game...........Cricket moves vvveerrrryyy slowly!
