I think we should point out for the benefit of non UK Mudcat members that this is an English issue and does not affect Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Danny Alexander is a Liberal MP in Scotland and chief Secretary to the Treasury, will he vote against or abstain along with Menzies Campbell and Charles Kennedy, high profile Scottish Liberal MPs, against the raising of Uni fees in England?
