I'd like to emphasise that this thread is not intended as some partisan attack on the past wrongs of America, but ideally to explore dissenting voices - such as Twain - who succinctly slice straight through the buffer of political propaganda, and confront us with the reality of what we are all in some part (either by action or inaction) complicit.
