One name that comes to mind when I think of British boxers was Richard Dunn from Leeds. Okay he was never World Class, but he was courageous. I saw him fight Muhammad Ali for the world heavyweight title in 1976. Ali, knocked him out in the fifth round; this was to be the last knockout Ali achieved.

He was one of natures triers. I saw a sports centre named after Dunn in Bradford.
