I'm playing this tune a lot at the moment, it sits really well on the mandolin. One issue I have is that the first time I heard it was by Chris Leslie, and his version has a distinct 'lilt' or 'dotted rhythm', and sounds more like a speeded up hornpipe to my ears. I then heard it done by a bluegrass/old timey oufit, and they played it as a straight up reel. This is messing my playing up, as I play the tune in one style and hear bits of the other in my head (and vice versa). Is there a definitive approach to this tune anywhere?
