I just got a beaut, purportedly from a friend of mine.

It was a note stating that he and his wife had been mugged in Wales. According to the note, no one, not even the embassy, [I didn't know we had an embassy in Wales.] was willing to help them get home. The note ended with a request to please wire money.

Needless to say, I phoned my friend immediately. He said that all of his son's business associates had also received this one and they were putting in a complaint to their servers.
