One table less in the house. My across the street neighbor was out mulching leaves, and said he hadn't seen those other neighbors for a while, so we piled in my truck and drove three houses up the street to unload this small table as a surprise. (Walking it there was possible, but it would have also wobbled the hinges more that would be good for them.)

If I'd listed it on Craig's list, I'd have had to do a lot of small repairs, or list all of the flaws. I wouldn't have gotten a lot, but the neighbor is handy and I think she can fix it herself (and I'll keep my eyes open for the missing plank that supports the second leaf). The enamel top has a couple of chips, but it is still quite beautiful. I suppose one could even lift it off and put it on an entirely new base.

Lovely weather today, so I'm taking a couple of hours off to work on the mower blade and mulch the leaves on the lawn. My hands are more broken out (sugar is the only thing that really changed in the last week, and it's out of the house now) so while I work I'll be wearing vinyl gloves over the hand cream that I've been using the help clear them up. I'd stopped for a while to see if I still needed it. I do. The work gloves over the vinyl will help cushion the tender spots (cracked skin.) I am tired of this.
