Hey, Dorothy, that's still 5lbs less than before isn't it?

The human body is genetically geared towards storing extra fat and calories during the colder months - it's what stopped us freezing or starving to death before WalMart was invented. Therefore, it becomes more difficult to shed weight when the temperatures drop. We can still eat healthily though, have home-made vegetable soups and low fat stews, bake potatoes with low fat fillings rather than have fries, watch the amount of bread, pasta and rice, leave out the dumplings and biscuits and drink herbal teas or low calorie/fat hot chocolate.

Remind me I said this in about 3 months time when I can't fit in even my stretchiest pants!

Accountability should cover all walks of life but we're taking one step at time, so actually DOING the jobs is an ongoing process with the decluttering. Occasionally a deadline will come galloping up (like me this week, I have guests on Saturday and no-where for the to sit or sleep!) and take us by surprise but mostly we're keeping it together!

Good luck with the cars!

Stilly - you'll have to explain snickerdoodles to us on this side of the pond because I just have this vision of a large nutty chocolate snack with curly hair and a pom-pom tail.....
