MOM, the young man I picked up at the airport is looking good, and I've learned about how his semester went. And as with his father, he rises to the challenge of something needing repair (puts them in a great mood), so he's in working on the computer I rebuilt. I got the basics in, the new hard drive installed, lots of software, the firewall and security, and now he's trying to get the audio drivers installed. I thought this computer was already making noise, but apparently not.

I've also made his favorite breaded chicken strips. The extras are in the fridge for lunch. As is the way with most mothers, we know a shortcut to our children's hearts. It is through their stomachs, and we don't hesitate to exploit that cheat. :)
