Drive to the airport went well, my handsome young man was there retrieving his guitar case (his xmas present from me, purchased as needed, and I'll pay him back) as I drove past the baggage area, so I went around the loop once and he was ready. This was a great time of day for driving to Dallas and through Love Field. Very easy, not crowded at all. And I managed to get in a big hug at the curb, and a couple since.

I made a batch of his favorite breaded chicken breast strips. Moms know the way to their kids' hearts, via cooking, so of course I exploited that move. ;-D

Megadeth is playing in the corner room, and I know that tonight I'll sleep easily. I've missed having someone else in the house.
