You've done a lot of nurturing in these thread, Maggie. Thanks for that, esp. sharing your thinking processes. (And, those snowmen are really kewl!)

I don't have a lot planned until after the holidays, but I do enjoy reading along as Andrea gets moved in and unpacked and Dorothy discovers old stuff like new, etc.

I think the decision we made about the books, finally, is a grand gesture, as you speak of, which will show us we've really done more than it feels like. This is going to be a year of big change for us as Roger plans for part-time retirement. We will be working on budgeting, planning ahead, etc. and whittling down the household which is what this has all been about, anyway. It will be fun to see where we are with it next year.
