I love reading this thread. One more "tradition" my husband and I started a couple of years ago when money was really tight. The present we find for each other must be a "toy". No tools or toasters, not even big things like dishwashers no matter how much easier it would make things. We've had to spend a little more time and thought. Kalidescopes, unusual instrumnets, wizards ( He's a numbers wizard) lots of fun stuff has appeared over the years. And it keeps a piece of the joy alive for us as well. The kids also can't wait to see what the grown ups have gotten. Tinker
