If you're looking for smaller really friendly festivals I can thoroughly recommend Ryedale Folk Weekend at the end of May and Moonbeams Wold Top Festival in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds in mid July. Both in idyllic settings with great artists, friendly people, good sessions and perfect for kids. We'll be going to both so maybe see you there.
