The local Seahorse, Seal and Sea Lion Benevolent Association has met to determine what response, if any, they should take regarding the news recently arrived from Pocatello concerning the extended explosion there. Unfortunately, before a consensus could be reached, the Sea Horses and Sea Lions decided to execute a filibuster against any contemplation of the idea being forwarded by the Seals that they should extend a flipper of friendship--or any other kind--to the Legionnaires so afflicted. It was the opinion of the Sea Lions that the Legionnaires might misinterpret this gesture as an indication they should flip off, get flipped or be told to go flip themselves, all of which could lead to unfortunate repercussions. The filibuster was barely begun, however, when the fish-wagon arrived and the meeting was adjourned.
