The thing that peeved me with the Rock or Pop stars of that particular time was the false glitz of it all with the Lennons, Jaggers, Ferrys and Bowies etc. parading around at parties completely remote from the real world unless making the odd appearance with chat show hosts i.e. Michael Parkinson allowing us to take a bit of a glimpse. I didn't feel that I could relate to any of them at all. Not really.
